“House of Ono Jiro” is a residential space that captures the whole life and identity of a sushi chef. Seongsu-dong, Seoul was an industrial area in the past and various craft cultures still exist today. The bricks, which are made by hand, form the façade of the house. Visitors can experience sushi in the dining room. And space for study and zen meditation is for private use. Natural light shines through the ceiling, illuminating the chef. And line-shaped shadows represent the careful work of the chef.
